All work and no play makes art a dull boy

A receipt printer, drilled to a chair painted in Chinatown Orange, connects to a microcontroller programed to print out “I am an artist”, along with a date and time stamp, every ten minutes. The Chinatown Orange paint (50YR 18/650), found in home improvement stores, operates as a conduit to highlight and subvert its own illogically provocative name and reclaim the color through an equally absurd implementation.
